Hi! I'm Corey.

I build clear, simple and helpful

eLearning experiences for all learners

I believe…

  • All learners can meet the goals we set

  • It’s my responsibility to create simple, accessible, and understandable learning experiences

  • Learning never stops. Especially when we address and eliminate potential barriers in our design

  • Engaged learners are more willing to do difficult things, to take risks, to think deeply about issues and develop new solutions

  • Design needs to inspire interest and connect with learners of diverse needs

  • Any barriers to success are in the system, not the learner

Design

I just love helping people learn. I love studying and examining problems. I’m driven by collective problem solving and I work hard to define the tasks, barriers, or goals by learning as much as I can about the audience, users, and learners.

Build

I enjoy seeing ideas take shape. I like working collaboratively with various stakeholders to build learning solutions based on our understandings. My expertise lies in breaking down difficult concepts into simple learnable information.

Learn

This is where the rubber meets the road. We get to measure our learning...both ours and our audience. It’s time to measure our success. We get to make informed decisions on our performance, gather data and make changes on how well it performs.

Who am I?

I am a learning experience designer based in Wisconsin with a background in special education. I’ve worked with learners who think differently for the past 16 years. I've learned so much and am absolutely grateful for that amazing experience. I’m excited to use the perspective I’ve gained over the course of my professional career to design learning solutions for adults. I am passionate about improving learning outcomes through inclusive and accessible design.

My expertise lies in collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to effectively translate instructional goals into comprehensive, imaginative, and engaging learning experiences that break down difficult ideas, inspires interest and connects with learners.
